No time in remembered Nigeria’s history has it been this bad for the common man. Hunger, poverty, insecurity, hopelessness, foolishness and impunity walk naked on our streets. And there is simply nothing in the horizon to light up hope in the hearts of the people. Everywhere you look, palpable calamity threatens on all sides. Our case is worsened by the fact that it is not just about the leadership anymore. WE are ALL guilty of the sorry state the nation is in today. The fear, founded on our current reality, is that tomorrow appears a bleaker worry than today.



Nigerians, some funny researchers a while back said, were the happiest people on earth: dumbly laughing in their tears of sheer, self imposed hardship! Or didn’t some wise sage say that a people usually are deserving of the leadership they get?
