Nigerians Are Not Really Ready For Young Leaders. by lordtosan(m): 3:23pm On Sep 06, 2018
Lately, Nigerians have been clamouring for young leaders and I have followed the relatively few young ones who have indicated interest in the presidential race and i suss out we are not even ready for the young leaders we so desperately want.

Take for example, what happened this week.

Donald Duke who is currently a presidential candidate under SDP came out earlier this week to say he doesn't feel homosexuality should be criminalised because what a person decides to do with his anus should not be an offense under the law. You needed to have seen the insults Nigerians hurled his way. They swore he would never be voted in. That "eh, na so e dey start. He go soon legalise ashawo work. Mumu man. Gay man. Ole!". Never mind, homosexuality is a hot topic world over and many countries are beginning to get a little liberal. When Duke realized he was addressing a people who are more traditional than they would love to accept and that he had goofed big time, he quickly did a volte face and said the next day that he doesn't support homosexuality o, that eh it is a crime and it is a crime. Sir? One dude came out and wrote "Uncle Duke, we won't vote for you. You don't have liver. Buhari is better than you."

Just then, a Female Presidential aspirant, Eunice Atuejide showed up like John Cena from behind and slammed Donald Duke for distancing himself from a comment he made concerning homosexuality. She opined that Duke was a Coward who fears the croakroach of insults like a sisi and needed to be given a heavy knock on his bald head. She went on to insist homosexuality is not a crime, that ladies should be allowed to do 'Mo tigbana' with their fellow ladies. Just then, the floodgates of hell opened up and Nigerians trooped out in drove with their weapon of insults and gave Aunty Eunice a buffet treatment laced with rejection and condemnation. In their books, both Aunty Eunice and Uncle Duke should just kuku marry themselves and shove their ambitions into their decaying brains.

Just when i felt every other young presidential candidate should have gotten the memo and talk about things like building more mosques and churches, Sowore showed up in an interview yesterday. Guess what he said? He said eh that Ekiti state has the best weed(Igbo) in Nigeria (Sir!!!) and that eh Nigeria will be exporting weed to other nations when he becomes the President(shines eyes). Yes. Nigeria will become the highest exporter of Igbo(weed) in the world under him. One aunty didn't even wait for the video to end before she pounced on the TV. She said Sowore is the Antichrist that wants to steal, kill and destroy the future of our youths with Igbo. That eh if Soworo loves Igbo(weed) that much that he should buy for his wife and kids to be smoking in their house. All Sowore's last ditch attempt to explain that the exportation of weed was for medical purpose, to cure cancer fell on deaf ears. Never mind that igbo is now legal for medical purposes in some states in the U.S and other countries in the world like Canada and that Amsterdam made billions of Naira selling weed to tourists.

It would seem from all indications that Nigerians are not ready for younger generation of leaders with ideas to change the country like exporting weed to the world and allowing people to use their anus the way they deem fit. *Laughs*

It would also seem the not too young to run is not even accepted by the very Nigerians who were clamouring for it.

E. Paul.

cheesy

No! They're not ready. That's why they're so confused. Not knowing that no country was built through confusion.
