Ibadan is one of the best place u can ever settle in... I lived most of my life there, did NYSC there... if not for work, would have loved to stay behind.

I love Ibadan more than any other city in Nigeria...All will be fine in Ibadan as soon as they get rid of those scary looking rusty roofs!
The reason for the brown roofs is the heavy than pour couple with high intense sun... the mixture changes the colour of aluminium roofing sheet, majority of building uses aluminium and its a bit expensive converting a house that uses aluminium to modern days roofing style... no brown roofs in new sites, u hardly see Brown Roofs around Apete, Omi Adio and other new sites

there are more places in Ibadan without brown roof but they don't really show them because the brown roof really describes Ibadan.. go to places like ring road,bodija,oluyole,eleyele,jericho,agodi and see for yourself

and the supermarket the writer mentioned is called palms shopping mall

I Saw this long, nice article about Ibadan on Facebook and I was really enticed with the facts. I verified most of them on Google and I was able to get back ups on Wikipedia. I won't be wrong saying this Article was culled from Wikipedia.

● Ibadan is the third Largest city in Africa after Cairo and Johannesburg (Wikipedia)

● Ibadan is the third most populous city in Nigeria after Kano and Lagos

● Ibadan is the Home of Nigeria Army 2nd Division

ibadan Ile!no place like my City Mehn!No matter where i be...i kno go ever forget area oo....The moment you step in to IB you know you are in a very cool city the ambience and tranquility is next to none i can tell ya!The facr is there is nothing you wanna discuss in Nigeria that you wont mention ibadan!A city like a State!Ibadan is simply Greatness!A city of legends!it is one of the few cities people visit and dont wanna ever go back this is no gainsaying i know a lot of people who have stayed back and still living in the City!Proudly that Ibadan boy
