Ibadan is one of the best place u can ever settle in... I lived most of my life there, did NYSC there... if not for work, would have loved to stay behind.

I love Ibadan more than any other city in Nigeria...All will be fine in Ibadan as soon as they get rid of those scary looking rusty roofs!

The reason for the brown roofs is the heavy than pour couple with high intense sun... the mixture changes the colour of aluminium roofing sheet, majority of building uses aluminium and its a bit expensive converting a house that uses aluminium to modern days roofing style... no brown roofs in new sites, u hardly see Brown Roofs around Apete, Omi Adio and other new sites

that's what makes it an ancient city. History started from those brown roof buildings

There's really no need to tell you what I think. it'll make no difference. "Ibadan is just a large ( albeit historically illustrious) town". That was NOTED!!!
N.B: A large town = a city
