Aliyu Haidar Abubakar, the son of first female President of the Appeal Court, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa has joined the Gombe governorship race ahead of the 2019 general elections.

NAIJ.com gathered that Abubakar, who is running on the platform of the APC, submitted his expression of interest and nomination forms at the APC national secretariat on Saturday, September 15.

Addressing journalists at the APC secretariat, Abubakar said his youthful age and fresh leadership ideas stands him out among other contestants.
