By Agency Repenter Tuesday, 6 Jul 2010 The National Agency for Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and other Related Matters on Monday said it lacked enough evidence to criminally charge a former governor of Zamfara state, Senator Ahmed Sani, with allegedly marrying an Egyptian minor. In a statement on Monday, NAPTIP said it had concluded its investigation against Sani, saying that though he may have violated the nation's child right laws, it was up to the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohammed Adoke (SAN), to file charges against him, the Associated Press reports. The 49-year-old Senator allegedly married the 13-year-old Egyptian daughter of his driver ealier this year after paying a $100,00 bride price. . www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art2010070632922

Sani has probably bribed NAPTIP.This case has enough evidence to nail him.The girl in question is alive and can be arrested to obtain her true age.The father of the girl who i heard is the driver to Sani, can as well be arrested for questioning. |
