People are attacking government over Adeleke issue but forgot it was PDP candidates that took him to Court over the certificate issue before the public became aware of it. Nobody has gotten the courage to go to Court over Kemi Adeosun fake Certificate of Exemption despite large numbers of Constitutional & Human Rights Lawyers in Nigeria. Even Reno Omokri, Lawyers, Judges are aware a lot of people carry NYSC Certificate of Service ( not even exemption) without service and some people had served in government without NYSC certificate contrary to the constitution.

So, in Osun State or any South West Civil Service employment, education up to Secondary School level does not require certificate, you only need testimonial. I am yet to see a State in the South West where that is acceptable. FFK , Omisore & Ebenezer Babatope are from Osun State they know the requirements into Civil Service as a school certificate holder.

Even in UN, EU and International NGOs jobs, education up to Secondary School level requires certificate .

Till date, no person, organization, human rights group or Civil Society organization has the audacity to go to Court over Kemi Adeosun's matter for months while she is here.Even, they can still go to Court while she is in UK .She is just a victim of the system.

My issue with this is : we said we are a country of highly educated people, but look at the people we have in our places of power; people without WAEC certificate and people who are struggling to pass WAEC and NECO. It's quite simple! Getting an elective position is by the nod of a wider majority, in an election. And in most cases, these folks with inadequate qualification are very pliable because of their limited option in a system that favors/promote merit. As such you easily find them in politics playing the most brutal form of it.

The points you raised above are the same thing. You said it had been proved that he had WAEC. A driver at EU, UN and many international NGOs cannot present that WAEC certificate for employment. A driver or security cannot present that certificate for employment in some banks in Nigeria. I am very sure, no state in South West will accept that as WAEC certificate. Those PDP candidates that went to Court were not induced by APC but they felt cheated because they grow the party before circumstances brought him to PDP. The NECO issue has its root in the WAEC issue. He is qualified to contest election, Nigeria does not require turechi to rule, just be smart and be bold.
