I believe we all remember the poll that was conducted for Osun Gubernatorial Election on Twitter by a group known as 'THE WILLING' on
25th August which Ademola Adeleke of PDP won by 51%. When the news broke out, a lot of people were of the opinion that online polls do not actually matter because they believe the people that vote online will not be the ones voting physically during the election proper. However, these people have been proven wrong in some ways by the Osun people as the PDP candidate also won in the physical poll conducted by INEC on September 22, 2018.
The group made this comment earlier today and I want to believe they are correct;

From all indications so far and the outcome of #osunelection2018 on September 22, it is suffix to say online polls reflects the true choice of the people and if the physical poll by @inecnigeria is not manipulated, the same results would likely be produced. We're moving forward.
