Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has appealed to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate in the Osun State governorship election, Senator Iyiola Omisore, to join Peoples Democratic Party in the re-run election. This followed the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday that there will be a rerun on Thursday, Sept. 27 after it declared the poll ‘inconclusive’ Omisore is the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the election in which the candidate of the PDP, Senator Ademola Adeleke, came first with 254, 698 votes while the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, came second with 254,345 voters. Atiku while predicting victory for the PDP ahead of Thursday’s rerun, called on Omisore to remember when PDP believed in him in 2014. The Wazirin Adamawa wrote on his Twitter page: “I am confident PDP will win in Osun, no matter the ulterior motive of APC. the people of ekiti voted out fayose because he was unable to pay his workers, if am not mistaken, aregbesola owes his workers much more than fayose did. aregbesola managed to pay some just on the eve of the elections, if the people of osun cant vote out APC irrespective of the sufferings they witnessed under aregbesola, then they really enjoy the suffering 6 Likes |

(1)APC will lose Osun to PDP and (2)Osun will gradually become d Adeleke's empire just as Kwara is dat of d Saraki's and (3)Tinubu will b grossly affected,for: (i)one of his business empire will b taken away from him. (ii)Lagos his number one business empire will be at danger should he refuse ambode d Apc ticket.. Omisore or no Omisore, APC can't lose this election. Right now, every state is vital for 2019. I see APC doing the needful on thursday and they won't care if PDP goes to court because by the time the final judgement is delivered, the 2019 elections would have long been decided. Jagaban is still in Oshogbo plotting the graphs. There is no way he will let Saraki beat him in this one. 2 Likes |

if the rerun should take place only in the affected area. it would be difficult for PDP seeing to the fact that the margin is so closed. except they rearrange the election. imagine the police are deployed to one units and money shared to people of that units. |
