I laugh when i see people voting online. Some do not have a PVC, to start with. Some do not belong to APC but are quick to like/share a post just to rubber stamp a candidate. As much as i detest Tinubu dynasty, this is the fairest we have gotten in Lagos. A direct primary, not imposition that happened during Fashola and Ambode's primaries. Some of us here do not reside in Lagos and as such, are not privy to information. This election can not favour Ambode for the following reasons. He doesn't control the Lagos party structure. I mean he doesn't even have 20% of the leaders on his side. He didn't treat the civil servants well. I spoke to some of them. He is not a grassroot politician. He was handpicked to become a governor. He has never contested for any election prior to 2015. He is a bit proud and inaccessible. I also confirmed this from some party members. PSP situation. He didn't do much in terms of infrastructure to justify the voluminous IGR that Lagos generates. Nevertheless, i wish he had handled some things differently. Maybe he would have survived today's disgrace. I am sure there are people he could have met to help intercede on time before it got to this level. I also heard that Tinubu tried to pull the plug at some point so that the can give Ambode a second chance but he did not have enough leaders to back him. Instead, they threatened to withdraw their support from him if he decides to pitch his tent with Ambode. All in all, it is a win/win situation for us, the people of Lagos state. This will put the governor elect on their toes. The fact that you are elected the first term does not automaatically qualify you for the second. The iPob and the northeners donnot jw how the politics works in Lagos, it is not only about Tinubu here. He carry along all leaders in the local levels and in every household in the state along... Nobody can ring him out except for the grass root leaders and tinube already empower dem in one way or the other to reduce poverty in Lagos and someone called Ambode think he can shot change the leaders in Lagos, those deceiving him and the one going to vote against him.
