Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, leadership is about staying focused to achieve goals despite challenges. As we move around Akinyele Constituency interacting with regular Nigerians, we listen to their concerns about unfulfilled expectations, frustrations and sometimes disillusionment. Yet we still see the excitement, determination and hope on their faces that AKINYELE CONSTITUENCY will be better one day when the right leader is voted for.

Our political leaders “past and present” have tragically used politics as a source of empowerment to few individuals at the detriment of the larger populace and neglect of state development. Politics has been deployed as a weapon for oppressing the poor and downtrodden, and above all created depression, poverty, hopelessness and deprivation in
the society. I therefore urge us all to join hands with OLADIMEJI IBRAHIM ADEBAYO to confront and fight our common enemy; let us liberate ourselves from the shackle of oppression, let us take our destiny in our hands so that there can be a future for our children and those yet unborn. He offer himself as that bastion of hope.

He have, therefore, decided that he will, along with other respected leaders of the party, seek nomination as a candidate of the GREEN PARTY OF NIGERIA (GPN) to contest the Oyo State HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ELECTION to represent AKINYELE CONSTITUENCY II in the forthcoming election. We are making this declaration with the highest sense of humility and responsibility. We are putting him forward because he is a son of the soil, adequately trained, experienced and skilled with the quality of leadership required to pilot the affairs of our state.

We present him before you today as a bridge between the elderly and the youth. He hold before us all a beacon that summons us all to building together a more prosperous AKINYELE CONSTITUENCY. He have the competence, experience and determination to lead the constituency to greater economic heights and prosperity.
