Sen. Teslim Kolawole Folarin a.k.a TKF, a former Senate Leader has won the ticket to represent the APC in the 219 Senatorial elections. Sen. Folarin defeated a number of astute and veteran politicians such as Hon. Temitope Olatoye, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Mr. Bimbo Kolade, Engineer Faozey Oladotun, Mr Oyedemi Wakil Oyeleru and Hon. Oluokun George Akintola.
