Anita Ebhodaghe, the former wife of popular televangelist, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was obviously absent at their daughter, Carissa Sharon's wedding ceremony, which held yesterday.

Singer Nathaniel Bassey posted a photo congratulating the couple and a fan reacted to the absence of the bride’s mom. 

Well, Nathaniel Bassey had this reply for the fan.

It would be recalled that in 2015, Anita involved in a messy break up with her husband, Chris, after she claimed he was involved in illicit affairs with female members of the church.

She said she tolerated abuse for so long and subsequently, the ministry pulled down her profile from the church website, a development that showed all was not well with the family.

She had confirmed she was no longer a part of, or involved in, Christ Embassy, also known as, Believers LoveWorld INC.

Anita, however, officially filed for divorce at Central Family Court, High Holborn, London, UK, citing her husband’s “unreasonable behaviour” and inappropriate relationships with members of staff, an intonation of “adultery” as her reason.

Is it only the bride's mum that was absent? Have you people not noticed that even the bride's only sister, her junior sister who stays with her mum in London was absent too.
Its so pathetic. Since the divorce, they shared their daughters. Sharon who was in London with her mum came down to Lagos to stay with Chris, while the junior one remained in London with Anita. I wonder the kind of division that will make one half of a family boycott important functions of the other part.
With this, i won't be surprised if Pastor Chris won't attend his last daughters wedding. Or rather, she may not invite him even if he wants to be there.
The Devil has really played Ludo with this family. May God help us all.

Anita wasn't at her daughter's wedding, I remember when this lady used to be celebrated and idolized by CE members now she's the devil sent to bring their "man of god" down. There's no way Anita would miss her FIRST CHILD'S wedding by choice something must've happened and am sure even if she comes to say her part of the story she would still be antagonized.


Anita is human stop defaming her and calling her names because she doesn't have the immunity of the "anointed" anymore. She went through a whole lot in that marriage and those that know her can testify, it's not her fault that she fathered kids with a vindictive man.

When they ask u to seek pastors approval before marriage, kindly say to them, FOR WHAT??

Marriage is like a wrapped gift, nobody knows what's inside except God. And when u open it, only u can decide whether to stay with it or opt out.

Marriage is Like a a lottery if u are lucky u get a good spouse that can work with u through thick and thin and If u are not u may end up like Chris either oyàr or okotie.
Marriage is no respecter of anybody be it imam or pastor. If u are lucky then thank God.
Hence leave out pastors approval before ur marriage and sometimes ur parents if their reason is based on sentiments. Afterall it's u and ur spouse till eternity.
Just seek for God's favor in all u do and leave out human sentiments.

That’s not possible.
She’s British. If she prepared a divorce, there are certain terms that the divorce courts will make both parties sign. One is access to their kids.
Renege on it and the British legal system will show you why it is one of the best in the world. Pastor Chris is not stupid.
