The hedge is finally broken �.


I received a call from Deji very early in the morning. He was sobbing over the phone as he kept apologising to me. He asked i met up with him at Isaac John’s street at exactly 10am.

First, i was shocked to have received such call from Deji. Why would Deji be begging me? Why would he be forming so repentant? What could possibly be going on?

All these questions flashed through my mind in split seconds as he was talking with me over the phone. He had long stopped seeing me as his wife and kicked me out of his house.
I only mustered some courage to tell him i wouldn’t be able to see him. He kept pleading, saying he wouldn’t take much time. Since he asked we met in an open space,i later agreed to meet with him. Within me, i knew all wasn’t cool and couldn’t help but sense some cynicism from his actions.
I found myself in a black and rickety wagon driven by Deji.......
