Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has lambasted young Nigerians for hailing the emergence of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

The veteran musician and activist even queried those who claimed Atiku is a ‘lesser evil’ and wondered when ‘evil became lesser’.

He further expressed his displeasure at young people for not queuing behind young presidential candidates like Kingsley Moghalu, Oby Ezekwesili, Fela Durotoye and Sowore.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Charly Boy noted that evil is evil, and that there is no such thing as lesser evil.

Why are young people cheering that Atiku won pdp primaries? I hear some people say, “he is a lesser evil” Since when did Evil become lesser?So young people are not seeing the Sowere’s, Kingsleys’, Fela’s, Oby’s etc etc. Ok, maybe we need a lesser devil to takeout a bigger devil.
