Samanza89: Neither party has anything meaningful to offer... just the same recycled failures that stole leadership in their late 20's, ran a country with so much potential into the ground, and are still dragging leadership in their 70s. And we mumus have let them have their way for 50 years! |

I always say it, contesting elections is not a cake. It’s more than shouting on Nairaland about athiefcoolating or athieflooting. You have to pay exhorbitant prices to have a structure. You need logistics and human resourcess to be known in the pooling units. You must also be accepted by the stakeholders which include the religious leaders, the traditional leaders, the youths both educated and uneducated, by the women and their different societies, even the international communities. You must have contributed immensely to the political process and more than anything you must have not been found wanting in your public activities. All in all the resources especially money is a deciding factor. Lest I forget, Zoning must favor you. For this coming Presidential election you must come from the North. In 2023, no matter your credentials if you are a Northerner, don’t venture into it. But you have a chance if you are a Yoruba or if you are Igbo |
