It's called native wear which is worn every Wednesday. I'm currently serving at Flora Azikiwe Model Comprehensive Secondary School and we the corp members as well as other teachers wear native every Wednesday. Wednesdays is called Igbo day.

Of course!! I served in Anambra state as a youth Corper, I can tell the government there has serious zeal for their culture. Every Wednesday or so, no student is allowed to communicate with English, you must speak Igbo and every Wednesday is the day where both staff and students put in their traditional attire. That's not their conventional school uniform, it's their tradition wear set aside to be worn on a particular day of the week.. If I'm the governor of my state by Almighty God's grace, I'll make sure I enforce This.

guy during my secondary school days at onitsha we're encouraged to be speaking igbo language every Wednesday, there will be nothing like English on our mouth that day. there you will see an english teacher teaching English with igbo language. lol.
