After Atiku Abubakar picked Peter Obi as running mate in the 2019 general election, South East stake holders made headlines over their disagreement with the choice of Peter Obi, they claimed they were not carried along, they were not consulted, people blamed and called governor Dave Umahi names not knowing Ekweremadu is the man behind the who saga. Probably because of his political future.
Now he has lost out in the PDP power calculation, even if APC wins he cant be Senate president again, so he I presently negotiating his political future with PMB and Oshimole without asking Omisore, Sani and others how well.

For this reasons he want to work for Buhari in 2019, even if is Deputy Senate president or Majority leader he will settle for it rather than settle for a floor member in the 10th Senate.
But he forget Buhari will loose in 2019.

I share his grievance but life must go on. Politics is like mathematics if x + 12 = y and x is -2 * 3 = -6 inability to put the negative sign in that six will affect the value of y which is sopos to be positive six. Probably he didn't do his arithmetic well
