Somebody earlier asked you a question which you didn't respond. Do you make money on these updates and postings in your website. If yes, how?

We all know that Nigeria doesn't work.

They will come up with a law and only enforce it for "a while", then it's back to jungle living.

No hawkers law

No Okada law

No one way law

Lane discipline law

No littering law

...

Welcome to the Jungle.

Vote Sowore 2019 for true change, not all this Ex this and that, Ex military president, Ex vice president, bla bla bla... Nigeria will be great without these old guards.

I don't blame you. If you ply Ikorodu road daily, you will not ask this question. How I wish you captured the pot holes that caused the bottle neck traffic aside trailers packed toward Jibowu bridge. Please Governor Ambode in your mercy, fix the spot and there will be no temptation for drivers to use dedicated BRT lane.

Good observation, though the BRT operators themselves need to sit up. The scheme is not serving its purpose. It has not reduced the number of cards on the road due to inefficiencies. There are not enough buses to meet demands, hence people queue up for one hour or more before getting a business where they can stand. The operators still behave like touts, no organization, no communication with stranded passengers, the bus itinerary is not coordinated, sometimes, the bustop managers have to fight with the bus drivers before they agree to stop and pick passengers. When people stand, they pack people like sardines which discourages commuters from taking this option.

The citizens ought to know what is right and wrong. The citizens lack thinking for common good. It's a shame that brt lane has to be enforced.... citizens should self enforce it without lasma etc intervention. No president or govenor can enforce brt lanes. Only the citizens can. Should I call Nigerians savages??

The hypocrisy of some Lagosians ! You campaigned for change of party at the national level due to alleged misgovernance but blind to see that one party has been ruling Lagos since 1999 and considering that Lagos is the 6th largest economy in Africa, the city is not comparable to Cairo, Capetown etc. Lagosians will rather compare Lagos to Edo whose economy is not up-to 1/10 that of Lagos. Lagos is highly misgoverned, with massive corruption that can only be uncovered if another party takes over. Yeye dey smell

And u think the lazy, visionless and also corrupt Pdp we have in Lagos are the right people isn’t it?

I basically think if such shud happen we will only see a replay on the Apc nuisance done in the federal by giving power to unprepared people. In this case Pdp Lagos

Why involving Tinubu? Ambode cannot rule Lagos. During Fashola keke napep doesn't operate beyond 7pm in VI,but since Ambode came in they operate till dawn. In VI,come and see Aboki Agbero causing nuisance. Ambode has made lawlessness to take over every where.
You hit the nail on the head. Lawlessness returned since he took over. Take oshodi for example, apart from the haphazard road construction and bad road that causes holdup, commercial buses and other lawless motorists just turn at every available space, thereby causing holdup. Meanwhile, lasma officials gather to gist.

If I can ask you a question o.p, is that the normal position of those trucks parked by the road?

No offence but are Lagosians such brute savages that they can't be civil and responsible on the infrastructure (roads) provided by the government. There are thingsthe government can't fix that only the ppl can fix.

This includes communal use of road infrastructure, self governance in traffic situations - Nigerians are savages because they have proven since 1960 that they cannot govern themselves.... all they know is getting the next visa to the next foreign land.

Traffic is also back to Lekki/Epe express.

LASMA officials have turned bus stops to extortion/begging spots. They dont even border about the gridlock they leave behind.

Same thing at Bonny Camp and Agbongon.

Many of the men were enforcing the laws because there was always free meal ticket because of obnoxious fine Lagos state charges people. I have always wondered for how long the extortion will continue. Once the money is gone, the motivation to do the real enforcement diminishes.

Re: Are The Dedicated BRT Lanes In Lagos Now Free For All? (see PHOTOS) by ImaIma1(f): 10:45pm On Oct 24, 2018
The BRT drivers do not even maintain their lanes. Instead they come out of their lane and constitute a nuisance and cause traffic...an example is ikorodu road between fadeyi and palmgroove.

So if they disturb the other lanes and abandon theirs, other road users also have the right to use the BRT lanes
