Embattled Minister of Transportation, Mr Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi was absent from the commissioning of the Port Harcourt International Airport Terminal because the Presidency refused to allow him deliver an address.

Scannews learnt that the Minister arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja on Thursday morning and was shown the vetted programme which excluded his name.

Ministry of Transportation sources stated that Amaechi urged the Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika to altar the programme to allow him speak at the event holding in Port Harcourt.
Sirika pointedly told the Amaechi that two Ministers cannot speak at one event from the same Ministry. It was at this point that Amaechi angrily opted to stay away from Port Harcourt.

It was gathered that the Presidency deleted the name of the Minister of Transportation from the list of speakers because it wanted an apolitical event.

Aside Amaechi, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transportation and all the directors of the Ministry and relevant parastatals were on ground at the event.
Following the absence of Amaechi, the programme was civil with no group acting irresponsibly.

Town hall meeting while his ministry is commissioning their biggest project in 3 years and at his backyard?
He boycotted the commissioning because there's no opportunity for grandstanding.

He has been in Lagos since Monday? Will a Junior Minister give a speech over the Senior Minister?

Well I give it to APC and Nigerians in general, Amaechi should go with his village way of playing politics, he needs to grow up, did you here PMB mention anything concerning the previous administration, but if Amaechi was allowed to speak it would have ended in a free for all fight may be PMB agbada for tear lol, jokes apart Amaechi needs to grow up and that's why he would continue to loose even within APC.

There is no junior Minister or senior Minister situation here. Ameachi is the Minister of Transportation, and his ministry generally oversees all transportation sectors including aviation. Hadi Sirika specifically is the Minister of State for Aviation, overseeing aviation matters directly. I see no issues here.

You are free to arrive at your own conclusions. However, note that as the DG of Buhari"s reelection campaign team, he is the chief campaign officer for votes. Hence the Town Hall meeting was important for him.

Simply put, Amaechi talks carelessly and recklessly even his master knows that.
It good he didn't show up cos this morning now in Ph, all the radio stations wud be talking about what the minister said and his zombie supporters won't let us hear word.

Good omen.
Atiku all the way, come 2019.
