So Its going to be the end of the Road for Citizen by Birth in the USA. (Read Below thanks to The Donald undecided)

President Donald Trump said in an interview published Tuesday that he intends to sign an executive order that would end birthright citizenship for the children of many immigrants to the U.S.

Trump, in an interview with Axios, part of which aired Tuesday morning, said birthright citizenship “has to end” and that it would, “with an executive order.”

"We're the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits," Trump said. "It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. And it has to end."

"It's in the process. It'll happen with an executive order,” he said, adding that he's consulted with the White House counsel on the matter.

Under the Fourteenth Amendment, citizenship is awarded to children born in the U.S., or in U.S. territories, to parents of immigrants to the country.

Trump made the comments to "Axios on HBO.” Clips of the interview were released Tuesday morning, but the entire interview will air Sunday night.

"It was always told to me that you needed a constitutional amendment. Guess what? You don't," Trump said. "You can definitely do it with an Act of Congress. But now they're saying I can do it just with an executive order."

The U.S. is not the only nation in the world that grants birthright citizenship, as Trump stated. In fact, as of 2015, at least 32 other nations had passed laws granting some form of birthright citizenship, according to Politifact.

Trump's executive order, if and when it is signed, will almost certainly face legal challenges due to the fact that birthright citizenship is rooted in the interpretation of a constitutional amendment. The "Citizenship Clause" of the Fourteenth Amendment states that "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

He doesn't have the final word even though he is right it is being abused by many.

What he is doing is by signing an executive order he hopes the government is sued so it can go all the way to the supreme Court which if you remember now has a conservative majority with Kavanaugh. It will then be up to the Supreme Court to interprete the aendment and confirm if it involves babies of illegal immigrants.

It's not that he doesn't care about the 14th ammendment, the issue at hand is does the 14th ammendment also cover people who are in the US illegally especially as it states "all persons subject to the jurisdiction of the US government." Hebisnsimoly bringing the US in line with most countries where one of the parents must be a citizen of legal permanent resident for the child to be a citizen and this will remove a major incentive for illegal immigration.

If we are being transferred honest we all know it's being abused.

Bro think of it, this has been an ongoing issue for years and if you look at the hostory of the 14th ammendment on which this is based, the objective was to ensure children of freed slaves were citizens as some states still tried to restrict them.

It has now been used as a loophole for people to fly into the US to have babies and by illegals. The UK stopped it in the 70s or 80s because of the birth tourism abuse and most of Europe Australia etc also stopped it. There's a massive industry of agebta who specialize in birth tourism especially for the Chinese.

We know Nigerians we do it as well and it also encourages illegal immigration from South and Central America as if they enter and have a child it makes it difficult to enforce laws given you can't deport the US citizen child and the parents are illegal. Also when the child is 21 he can then file for his parents and other family members.
