A user posted the washed away Umomi/Idah road this morning on Nairaland. However, Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, according to a Facebook User, Kogi Rebel, says the Governor has moblized the contractors to site and has started the payment of 4 months salaries out of the 5 months salary oweed civil servants in the state.

Actually, Governor Yahaya Bello owes genuine workers who scaled through the screening exercise 5 months salary areas. He has started paying state workers 3 months on the spot and 4 months on the spot for pensioners. Another 1 month is expected to be paid in a week time when the September allocation hits the state government coffers.

This is Umomi road, it is currently under construction and people have been mobilized to site. When the Gov is responding, let us give him some credit.
