His reason for crying out is that, The state Governor had declared a free Education across Rivers state.

Sincerely, 600 is a token an average parent should afford. Everything can really be free abeg.

Nothing is free in Nigeria, these set of leaders are just there to suck the poor masses dry. Even those carrying the change mantra are the worst. Even in Lagos, the amount students are paying for the model school is enough to see some students through some federal institutions. we have lost our values in Nigeria. The change campaign is scam.

But #600 is too small for the parents not to pay. These fees are most likely to be per term. If you can't pay #600 per term for a child you certainly have no business giving birth to a child

Declaring free education doesn't mean government should pay for all expense, such as this biometrics, books, uniforms and other minor things.

At least the state government has played its part. The parents should be able to pay #600 buck common!!!

wike is a curse to Rivers State.
Those beautiful public schools that is now a noisome site was built and made free by Hon Roimi Amaechi not until the criminal and thug of a governor called wike came and place a school fees of 12k, sacked the securities and the company maintaining the school under the guise that there is no money .
Well I don't expect a thug to know the value of Education.
He has literally destroyed all the sectors of the economy that was once vibrant during the last administration... Health, Agriculture, Human capital development, Education, etc are all in comatose as I speak. These sectors were once the pride of the state

I'm sure enough time was given to them to pay but Nigerians being who they are wanted to dare the school authorities first

Who knows, some of their parents might have fallen victim of this terrible govt

A parent that can't pay $2 for his kid to attend school, has failed his child.
