NGOs,CSOs/support groups unanimously endorse the second tenure of Governor David Umahi-by Orji Uchenna Orji.

A conglomerate of Nongovernmental Organizations Civil Society Organizations and David Umahi support groups today (31/10/2018) at WDC abakiliki gathered in their great numbers to declare support for the reelection bid of Governor David Umahi come 2019.

The group having in attendance representatives of 593 organizations used the occasion to move and adopt a motion unanimously supporting the reelection of the capacity Governor H E Engr. David Nweze Umahi saying that in view of his track records, superlative performance and unbeatable capacity for good governance, they would mobilize all the electorates within the voting strength of the state to give him a historic vote come 2019 general election.

Speaking during the event, the Director of Divine Mandate campaign organization in charge of NGOs,CSOs and other support groups and Chief of Staff Government House Abakaliki Dr. Emmanuel Offor Okorie charged all the organizations to mobilize all their members across all the nooks and crannies of Ebonyi state to obtain their PVCs and sensitize the electorates. He also declared that a day would soon be set aside for a rally of the NGOs, CSOs and support groups to showcase their strength in the support of our dear Governor .

Earlier, the deputy director of the divine mandate campaign committee and Commissioner for Economic Empowerment and Job Creation Hon. Bar. Orji Uchenna Orji congratulated the teaming support groups for their foresightedness and sound sense of judgement in identifying with the divine mandate mission of reelecting His Excellency the Governor come 2019. adding that it was thoughtful and patriotic of them to have volunteered to be part of the mass movement for the reelection of the capacity Governor. Over 1000 persons were in attendance despite the short notice.

Don’t be deceived, these men are not representatives of any NGO, they’re simply extended associates of politicians masquerading as social workers.

By global standards, NGO operators and social workers do not get involved in partisan politics, let alone expressing public support for a candidate.
