Saw this in a yet to be publish magazine that r kelly is a yoruba man from ibadan. He was birth named rashidi kehinde (kenny), before trade took him to chicago in usa at age 14. He later changed the kenny to kelly and preferred to write r instead of rashidi, thereby giving birth to r kelly. Lol
