I keep on saying this. That the anti corruption crusade is an impossible task without restructuring that will put power firmly in the hands of the people and not the few that happen to get elected into office.

If you don't know HOW the withdrawals were made. If you don't know WHEN the subsidy payments were made. What are the chances corrupt practices have not taken place. What is the guarantee monies have not been stole. A people that depend on the benovelence of their leaders are bound to be led astray. The people cannot justsimply sit by and hope those in power do the right thing. No leader will. It is the fear of the people through thd scrutiny of institutions that ensures good government. Show me a leader that has no fear, no respect for the people, whether in the US, Japan, Zimbabwe or Nigeria and watch a nation decay.

If the subsidy payments were right, proper, legal and desirable then why hide it, even from the scrutiny of the House of Assembly. This isghe road yo brazen corruption. Definitely monies will have been stolen and no Nigeria will be wiser for it. No one will be able to trsce anything now.
