-Kano is more populated than lagos with 44LGA
-Kano earns less IGR than lagos
-Kano has 3 times more land mass lagos
-Kano was not a federal capital, therefore no major federal governmental input.
-Kano is less indebted than lagos.
-Kano earns less revenue than lagos.

Meanwhile Kano pulled off a 2km start to finish bridge without tolling coupled with excellent roads.

-Lagos has less population with just 20 LGA
-Lagos earns about 503bn publicly announced
-Lagos is one of the smallest states
-Lagos was a capital with 75% ready layed down roads/amenities..
-Lagos is heavily indebted to a tune above 1trillion
-Lagos earns most revenue than all 36 states.

The question goes: ARE LAGOSIANS BEING CHEATED?

Lagos is nowhere near her counterparts in terms of development. APC has been in Lagos with huge resources and the only thing they can boast of is mediciore bridge and roads.I weep for my people!

Lagos should have been a micro National if the wanted to succeed like all the micro nations.
Lagos has more potentials than all the successful nations in the world

The party see lagosians as maga who must pay they , with enourmorse resources they deliver mediocre projects and overhype it,then rig election, buy over opposition like pdp which refuse to hold them to account and put them on their toes, the resources available to them is too huge not to have turned lagos to mini duba, monthly allocation from FG, internaly generated revenue, borrowings, special allocation from vat proceed, money from development partners,

The Pics Above Shows The Person who has Limited the growth and development of Lagos...

Lagos is just moving in circles! The growth in Lagos is not commensurate with the Massive funds the state Receives...

As a Matter of Fact Lagos is living on Past glory!

A group of wicked men are seated on the advancement of Lagos..

The Day Chief Bola Tinubu goes, u will witness The Real Lagos... what we have now is Media hype Lagos..

Lagos is not supposed to have any bad road with the funds it received...

Some Local government in Lagos Generates more money than certain states..

You folks just like to make unnecessary noise. Kano doesn't even have close the number of flyovers and interchanges that Lagos already does at different nooks and crannies. Ambode is currently building his third flyover at Agege after the Lekki/Ajah and Abule-Egba ones, not to mention the Oshodi interchange, all these within less than 4-years. And I recall some of you were the same ones abusing Ambode for building them because you felt they were unnecessary.

You can be happy for Kano's infrastructural development without using it as another opportunity to denigrate Lagos (as usual).

Osun state has also recently built two interchanges (pix attached below) and earns far lesser than Delta, Bayelsa, Kaduna, and even Rivers (none of those listed states governors has embarked on any infrastructure of such magnitude so far), so going by your logic, those other states must be getting shortchanged as well abi? Osun must be on same level as Ganduje's Kano then I guess, going by your logic. undecided

These people were abusing Ambode for building flyovers at Lekki, Abule-Egba and Agege o, saying Lagos doesn't need that. Now they are trying to change the narrative.

Divide and rule mentality is giving you issue...

Osun did not do that with the meagre allocation it gets but with a debt of over N200bn..

Kano did that with a cost of N10bn, lagos earns about N40bn monthly (announced). All the flyovers you mentioned in respect to Ambode, was the cost announced?

The oshodi bypass pegged at N22.4bn is not upto 1month revenue generation of lagos.

THE QUESTION GOES, ARE LAGOSIANS BEING CHEATED!!?

You are a very well-known PDP apologist and hypocrite with zero credibility. Why your fixation with Lagos? Lagos has way more flyovers and interchanges than the entire Northwest geopolitical zone combined. Lagos can decide what and where it choses to spend its revenues as far as infrastructures are concerned. If Kano decides to have its own equivalent of Lagos' LRU, build a Lekki-Ikoyi bridge, Oshodi interchange, or its own Light-rail, some of us will be happy about it without making stupid comparisons as you are doing. It's not a must that Lagos must build interchanges just because Kano is building interchanges. I have listed PDP states whose governors aren't building interchanges or flyovers, some of whom earn far more in revenues than Osun and Lagos, yet you will never be caught opening this sort of threads or making this type of comparisons between such states. If you are so concerned and sincere about infrastructures across the states, then deal first with underperforming PDP states and quit being a hypocrite.

You are shooting off post... its not a PDP/APC state banter but on resource management on the huge allocation it gets monthly whereby a state with twice its population/size happen to carry out projects in tandem or more than lagos without tolling or excessive revenue drive. But the later has a debt over N1trillion and counting.

Please note Lagos was a former capital with 75% of roads and bridges built by the federal govt.

So in respect to the above narrative, are lagosians being CHEATED?!!

Nonsense. Kano is not Lagos. Only a foool and mumu would expect the cost of building infrastructure in both states to be the same considering their different peculiarities as far as topography and the likes are concerned. Inspite of your obvious mischief, I am sure even you know that several factors would come into play if you're to make an objective comparison. To stretch your jaundiced and warped talk even further, you tell us, are Kano citizens being 'cheated', afterall there's an allegation of Ganduge accepting kickbacks? Why is Bayelsa still backward inspite of earning way more in allocation than Kano, and having far lesser population? Ditto Delta state. Are Rivers citizens being cheated because Wike is owing pensioneers o. How much does it cost to build flyovers in Bayela or AkwaIbom compared to Kano? A bridge that Buhari commissioned in Kano some months ago collapsed after four months. Were Kano citizens shortchanged? I repeat that you are a hypocrite with zero credibility.

Cost of building such infrastructures should be higher due to logistics. Lagos has the ports and proximity. So the issue of cost does not hold water as kano is more densely populated than lagos while being virtually unmapped.

Ganduje got kickbacks, which is very bad, but doing more work or in tandem with lagos, one must ask is the allocation of lagos kickbacks?

In comparison to other states, majority receive an average of N60bn with salaries gulping N40bn - N45bn.
But lagos earns over N300bn on allocation(officially) while unaccounted revenue is at its highest peak, why are world class infrastructures not seen but rather Kano state with less in all comparison is at par with lagos on infrastructure?

Are lagosians being cheated?!!!

With this statement right here alone, it is obvious you are unintelligent. You are just grandstanding but really you are not as bright as you try to let on. Common sense should tell you that topography is an even more significant variable in terms of costing infrastructure in different locations such as the ones in question.

E.g, building the foundation of a house in a swampy area can cost you up to five times more than on solid ground, depending on the type of foundation even. And even more so you are building more than one storey. You are not smart at all.
