Ondo APC is deeply factionalized, and for this reason Aketi needs to be careful so that the fate that befell Amosun will not repeat itself in Ondo. Playing politics of exclusion never takes any politician far. When former Lagos PDP chairman (Salvador) and his supporters dumped the party, Lagos APC embraced them and quickly integrated them into the state party structure (Salvador is already a deputy chairman Presidential Support Committee of Buhari/Osibanjo). Amosun on the other hand refused to accommodate Osoba's faction, choosing instead to hug the entire party structure of the state, thereby creating hostility to his leadership of the party in the state. Ondo APC is currently very fractionalized due to the 'winner takes all' posture of Akeredolu and his supporters. I hope he learns to accommodate Oke, Abraham, Boroffice and the likes because he may need their support in the future. In politics no permanent enemies but permanent interests.
