Presidential candidate of the Young Progressives’ Party and former deputy governor of Nigeria’s Central Bank, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu has nominated 37 year old Umma Getso as His running mate.

Getso is from Kano State, North Central Nigeria.

In a formal announcement, Prof. Moghalu said He nominated Getso because He believes the solutions to the challenges faced by Nigeria lie within the youth demographic.

According to Him, “My choice of Umma Getso is a recognition of her talent, leadership ability and a passionate commitment to a better future for the youth of Nigeria. It is also consistent with my strong commitment to women as full partners in nation building. I restate my target of 50 – 50 gender parity in the composition of my cabinet as president of Nigeria in 2019.

This one that can't even win councilor in kano. They would just come and split votes, that's if they get any reasonable votes. They party should start building from the grass roots and mobilising over a period. It should be a long term project , not every 4 years when election approaches.

I would have love this guy, sowore, and the rest youthful presidential candidates go to the Senate. The constitution need serious amendment and overhauling. This old cargoes in the house now, will not do that because of their selfish gains. If at all they any of them will win, there will need good laws to work with. Let them go and make this laws first
