THE VICTORY THAT MEANS A LOT

It is to the glory of the Almighty God and resilience of the people of Irepodun, Oke Ero, Isin, and Ekiti Constitency that the candidate of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Alhaji Abdulraheem Olatunji Olawuyi (Ajuloopin) was overwhelmingly voted as a Member, House of Representatives in the bye-election held on the 17th November, 2018.

We heartily congratulate our own Mr. Olawuyi-Ajuloopin for this victory as we, as a party, celebrate a new threshold in the political leadership of Kwara State. However, this victory is not for Ajuloopin as an individual or APC as a party alone; this is indeed a clear victory for our people in Kwara State that have endured poor governance for so long but that earnestly yearn for a new paradigm shift in the representation of their political interests. This is a victory for our people that believe in the enduring vision and true values that APC presents as an enduring path to our political renewal in Kwara State and in Nigeria.

In the APC, our mantra is always that a party is as strong NOT as the power and privilege of a few but as the strength of and opportunity for the majority. This is the bedrock of our engagement with the people and the cardinal value that enlivens our governance and the transparency of our leadership.

This was the message that equally underscored our campaign in the build up to this House of Representatives bye-election in Kwara State. We are pleasantly delighted that our people bought our message and voted not only peacefully, orderly and creditably but transparently for our party, APC.

In our campaign, we promise a new direction in quality leadership; Ajuloopin competently represents this new direction. And as a party, we would not deviate from our promises of great governance and true leadership that our people demand and deserve. We campaigned on a mantra of CHANGE: This is the beginning of Change in our political fortune in Kwara State and, by the special grace of God, an everlasting Change in our emancipation from politics of subjugation and deceit in Kwara State.
We rejoice with our new incoming member, House of Representatives. Mr. Abdulraheem Olatunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin.

We look forward to continuous support of the people of Kwara State as we move towards the 2019 general elections when we will collectively rescue our state.
