Chief Jim Nwobodo,a governor of the old Anambra state and Chief Ken Nnamani,a former senate president yesterday evening
described the fronting of ex governor Chimaroke Nnsmani as candidate of PDP for Enugu East senatorial district in the 2019 General election as a great fraud which they must resist at all cost.

Both eho hails from Enugu East senatorial district and at different times represented the district in the red chambers argued that ex Governor Chimaroke Nnamani was not physically svailable in the country to havr filled the senatorial forms and to hsve sworn to the affidsvits as required by the rlectoral process.

Speaking at the flag off the APC candidate for Enugu East senstorial district. Prince Lawrence Eze,Senator Ken Nnamani said the action of the PDP is a clear violation of the electoral law and can send those involved to prison.

He further lamented that PDP is trying to commit sucn alleged act of impunity in his senatorial district ehich has produced reputable politicians like himself and Jim Nwodo.

He warned that the act is likely to smack of violence in the polity of the state ehich has enjoyed an apprecisble peace over a period of time.

He boasted that the APC candidate is likely to be the only candidate for Enugu East senatorial election and pleaded to be joined in the suit to seek ex governor Chimaroke Nnamani disqualificatiom from the contrst.

His words,’I’m yet to know why PDP chose to commit such high level of impunity in my own senatorial district.As much as we know,Chimaroke was not seen anywhere. He is still outside the country in his sick bed. Even if somebody filled the forms for him in proxy. The electoral law demands he must swore the court affidavits by himself.The conpirators might go to prison”

Chief Jim Nwobodo eho arrived very late to the event in his own speech corroborated what Senator Ken Nnamani said and urgef their people to vote for Prince Lawrence Eze as the next senator of Enugu East senatorial district,extolled him to have used his personal resources to have constructed adhphalted roads in many communities in addition to many other projectd.
