MBAGBAM AND TSAMBE PEOPLE DUMP PDP

The All Progressive Congress today welcomed into its fold over 13,000 members of the PDP from two different council wards of Vandeikya Local government Area of the state.

The event which started in Mbagbam council ward witnessed over 6, 000 decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party. Leaders of the decampees in Mbagbam include e Jev Aondohemba, Mama Catherine Hembeve, Hon Ber Terfa, Hon Azenda Terkula.

Speaking on behalf of the decampees from Mbagbam Hon Jev in his speech narrated that despite having the speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly Hon Titus Uba as a son of the soil, there is no single project on ground to show the presence of PDP in the area. Hon Jev went further to state that the decision to leave the PDP is the best for his people and a prove
that his people are willing to try something new and APC is the best option for the people of Mbagbam now.

The APC senatorial candidate in Zone A Chief Mrs Mimi Adzape Orubibi called on the people never to give up as the Buhari administration has many people oriented programmes that are intended to reduce the sufferings of the ordinary Nigerians. The senatorial candidate also called on the people to come out and benefit from the free medical treatment she brought to their door step.

Also speaking at the event, Member representing Jerchira in the National Assembly, Hon Mrs Mato called on the people of Mbagbam not to be deceived by the lies of PDP. According to the honourable member the people of Mbagbam can point at her projects in the area but can't see any project carried out by the PDP.

In Tsambe Council Ward, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party Hon Donald Tor also moved into the progressive fold with over 7000 of his supporters. Prominent among the decampees in Tsambe are Hon Donald Tor, Hon Akoso Makar, Hon Terver Ikyoosu and Hon Vangeryina Donald.

Distinguished senator Jacob Tilley Gyado who is also the Director General of the Jime/Ode campaign organisation welcome Hon Tor and other members of the PDP into the All Progressive Congress and told them that the people of Tsambe are wise people and should not be part of failure which PDP is going to face in next year's general election.

Accordingly to the DG, the people of Benue State have resolved to vote out PDP and bring in Barr Emmanuel Jime to come and rescue the state from poverty, hunger and total underdevelopment created by the PDP government as a result of non payment of salaries, pensions and gratuities despite steady allocation from Abuja.

Senator Gyado also presented the APC senatorial Candidate chief Mrs Mimi Adzape Orubibi, Hon Mrs Dorothy Mato, Hon Gwaza Uja Matyu to the people of Tsambe and called on the people to vote the APC in next year's election.
Hon Tor on his part stated that he joined PDP to help his people and judging from the last three and half years of the PDP in the state, it is very clear that the party does not have what it takes to represent the people hence his decision to join APC, a party with many programmes for the people. According to Hon Tor in APC he can contribute his quoter to the rescue of the state from PDP looters and liars who are not ready to change.
