Members of All Progressive Congress (APC), from Alimosho, the west senatorial district of Lagos State, have assured gubernatorial candidate of the party, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, that the axis of the state would deliver him 500, 000 votes during governorship election come 2019.

They said that they would not only deliver the votes but also ensure he wins the election with highest votes, since Alimosho contributes largely and remains result determinant.

Besides, the stakeholders, in their unanimous voice, tabled their demands before the Lagos APC’s governorship candidate which included three commissioner seats, 10 directorship slots among others, just as they urged Sanwo-Olu to also not neglect youth from the axis, and that, providing them job opportunity and empowering their capacity would go a long way.

I don't know why to me this man doesn't have that 'Lagos governor vibe' just seems like he won't fit and the office might be too hard for him to run, maybe i am just judging a book by its cover though........ angry

disaster on arrival...which alimosho?? the one with dirty environment, no state govt presence,dilapidated schools, bad roads network, nepotism and insecurity,..
roads from ISOLO to ikotun are worst ... jakande gate, NNPC junction, egbe idimu etc... AYOBO road, ijegun road, abaranje nko...
I can mention more... the whole of alimosho can't boost of any States govt presence.. the only one we relied on.. the NYSC permanent sites was converted to residential estates by Fashola and now the place is under a lock down... I don't think any sane mind will vote for the same set of.people that refused to develop the LGA tally with the votes they received Every election period...

Alimosho local government is the largest LG in the whole of Lagos state



What i know is that in Lagos state today those that still for PDP are only her members because APC now flows in all Lagosian blood either a politician or non politician

Those areas you mentioned, are in a sorry state, the roads are terrible. I wonder how ppl survive there. Perhaps they are used to that kinda of life.

with all this you mentioned, I will have no pity for the people of alimosho LG if the APC win the LG again.

It's actually Nigeria's most populated LGA by virtue of having the highest number of polling units than any other LGA nationwide as stated by INEC (Guardian, 2011).

@Topic: I'm not surprised by the proclamation. The LGA and Ojo are core APC areas. Ironically, they constitute the ghoulishest places to reside in Lagos.
