Two things I hate,....
1. The capitalist economy; for continually allowing the rich, drain and suck dry the poor
2. The poor and Ordinary Nigerians; for continually being wicked and greatest enemies of each other

The truth is that capitalist productions and marketing seriously needs to be regulated by very strict and non-corrupt health and safety agencies, otherwise people will not mind selling anything to the detriment of the health and safety of others in order to maximize profit.

Sometimes I just love socialism.

I wish there was a perfect intermediate to capitalism and socialism which would maximize the benefits of both systems and cancel out the demerits of both.

While most Nigerians are blaming the government for the problems in the country, a man has decided to expose the theft/scam being carried out by some traders in order to make quick money.

In a trending video posted online (watch below), some women were caught removing about eight Derica cups from each bag of rice after which they will use a new bag to repackage it and make it look 50kg bag of rice.

This is what they do to make extra cash as the bags of rice are later sold to unsuspecting customers who have no idea how they've been scammed.

Nigerians while reacting to the video, urged the government and appropriate authorities to look into the issue carried out by the corrupt traders.

Watch the video below.

This has been going on for years, they even add shafts and stones to bag of beans add to its weight. Nigerians find it convenient to blame the government for every little thing but most of them are not honest.
Exactly sad

Socialism is a disaster waiting to happen always. It provides no incentive, no skin in the game and no reason to innovate

This is what you get when you f00lishly assume you're promoting Naija brand and Naija traders. Keep promoting made in Naija while your sanity and resources keep decreasing.

Nothing is more laughable than being scammed by the same people you think you're helping/promoting grin grin

Shebi you people want to boycott South African malls (with a dedicated quality control and surveillance unit)? ahaha grin
BROS most apples and other fruits at shoprite locations have serious quality issues.
I could have sued them for selling me rotten apples but decided to pardon.

They also tamper with the scale...if the first scale is not good, request they bring another.

You won't even know they've tampered with it, they would even make it display 51kg as against the 50kg you are looking out for.

Phones do not come with memory cards like time past. You can see the devices are sealed, nobody removes memory card from devices.
martineverest:
it's really sad...I noticed it too.manufacturers inserted memory cards inside a phone, the sellers chose to remove it and resell it
