The killing of Badeh came as a shock to NIGERIANS because he was a head of a top security agencies.

Now the question is who gains from this killing?

PDP? I know the narrative that will be flowing around now will be he was killed to shut him up because he knew a lot and was gonna expose some thing. But from a rational and logical angle this argument does not hold water. The reason it does not is because the corruption case have been in motion for years and according to sound bits from EFCC the justice system in form of the judges are the ones frustrating the fight.
To an extent we have a rough idea that the embedded systematic corruption is the one stalling the fight. Which is why the haven't been any actual sentence been served.

APC?? There is nothing to gain here for APC except that such headlines only takes the current pressure and spotlight off them in many ways, because in as much we want to believe APC will have a smooth ride there is genuine concern within the camp that they might just miss out. There spin doctors will take advantage of this situation and manipulate it to their advantage in form of campaign points to support their reelection bid.

Disgruntled service or ex-service men? This can never be ruled out because it takes a bold team to execute such a operation because they obviously know the resulting aftermath in terms of rigourous investigation and the eventuality of been caught. For such a operation to be excuted they must have conducted thorough surveillance to bypass the ex service chiefs own security system.

Possible Boko Haram sleeper cell? This is everly present because we are currently in a state of war with Boko Haram, meaning that there is a possibility that they are deducing other forms of long term operations to ensure they gain a tactical ground in form of psychological damage.. Everyone might say but he's a ex service man so why would they go through such stress, the question is why won't they go through such stress? Could it be they have been probing our security apparatus and heirachy and of late they have been finding openings?

In summary what the killing has done is bring back bad memories of terror and fear that use to happen back in the 60s,70s,80s and 90s during coupe de tat and general political assassinations. Which is why we as citizens must be cautious of media outlets that use the word ASSASSINATION because it brings a whole new dynamics and some form of fear.

We as a county shall overcome every terror within and hostile external forces... God BLESS OUR COUBTRY NIGERIA.

I am an independent thinker who views events and things from a logical and rational angle... The level of insecurity is growing which might cause a negative potential psychological effect.

It's only logical to dig into the minds of these cultprit that have carried out this hideous act because there is a possibility that might not stop here.

Understanding the nature of various crimes happening across the nation and profering solutions is the only way we can create awareness and also help our security apparatus.

Therefore false accusations of disinformation is Childish because you and I knows it doesn't add any value to you and I as citizens of this country.

It's only Nigeria we have therfore we must be determined to protect it in our own little way.

Am beginning to think that the killers of Alex Badeh are right here in Nairaland.....or their media representatives.

Since ysnite, this forum has been bombarded with many Muslims and APC Janjaweedians across the Country showing great Joy at this unfortunate Assassination.

God will Judge You all...

It's a world of Karma.

It's important you don't loose your mind over miscreants that have no bearing and only base their myopic justification of one's demise on the narrative of corruption. They might celebrate now but they don't know the underlying problem that is brewing.

We as rational citizen of this country with non party affiliation must continue to stand our ground and ensure that we beam the light on areas majority of Nigerians are blinded to.. We must protect everyone in this country even those that can't protect themselves because they blinded by poverty.

God bless Nigeria and it's citizens
