My first art commission (as a young Nigerian artist) by faceland: 8:28pm On Dec 19, 2018
When I was a kid (and was developing my skills as an artrist). Someone asked me to draw a picture of a lady (he wanted to give it to her as a birthday gift).

I was then young. In this article (whos link is below) I narrated my experience back then, and every thing I learnt from that first art commission.

Spoiler Alert; it was discouraging. sad

I don't like commission. I have outgrown that stage of my career (have no interest in it). Back in the days it was all I did. I still love portraiture (which is my origin), but I despise commission (especially by those who do not appreciate the arts).

I am just enjoying the freedom now. I might get back to it some day.
