Hello, I am a sociology graduate my self, from one of the federal universities, i am currently runnig my masters programme in HR.

There are several career path you can choose with sociology background. You could decide to go into Human Resouces, you do your masters in HR, several universities in and outside nigeria run MBA programmes with specialisation in HR, then CIPM- Chartered institute of personnel management nigeria, CIPD- Charted institue of personnel development UK are professional exams that will boost your career.

The speciality in HR progession is wide, u cold decide to be an HR consultant, go in recruitment, generalist. people management etc,

You could also decide to go into academic feild, criminology, NGO, consultancy, HR in organisations

I am provoleged and happy to have made sociology my tetiary educational back ground.

I currently work in a recruitment company and eventually plan to set uo my own consutancy outfit,  At the end of the day it all depends on your vision and conviction.

Good luck
