People can be using it in Akure, Kwarra, Abuja, Aba etc but the fact remains that Xiaomi is not in Nigerian market and I doubt if they give a damn about our market.
If Xiaomi remains pretty unknown in Emeka Offor plaza it says a lot about the phone.
Crappy phones from Tecno, Itel, Infinix, Gionee are well rooted in our market.
Something I cannot say if Xiaomi and the worst is, if your phone needs spare replacement you will then understand what I'm saying.

The very affordable ones don't support one of the most reliable 4G Network Band in Africa (Band 28 - Glo 4G) just yet..

That's because band 28 is rare. Just search for it and u would see countries with various provides that supports it

Mr man that the phone is not in Nigerian market does not mean that soldiers in Sambisa forest are not using it, it means the brand does not consider Nigerian market viable to penetrate it.
