the theme of this years carnival was “Africanism” that was the story being told by every participating band. Every band tried to tell the African story as best the could and I’m sure you could see those people in that photo wearing colonial hats. Nobody was trying to be Putin or whatever just simply telling the African story from early man to the present day and the colonialism in Africa at the time is a sad part of it.

If over 50 countries visit the state while you run to your village it makes no difference,

What I always saw in calabar during this period make me proud of nigeria, and allot of people around the world are talking about nigeria positively.
