This are the recent top 7(Seven)killer chess move by APC(Buhari led government) to win election and to stop some key figures from returning.

1)Continued delay of the electoral act in a systemic way until a tenable excuse of "no time to implement it arises. This will stop electronic transfer of result there by allowing for manipulation before it gets to the headquarters.e.g the Osun gubernatorial election where 1000 alleged vote where deducted.Move successful

2)Appointing the niece of the president Amima Zakari as the chairman of result collation. You will recall that this said woman was appointed by president Bihari as the acting chairman of INEC,but after much outcry by the masses she was changed.people had thought that she will step aside like JEGA but she probably have uncompleted assignment. .Perfect move.

3)Arrest one of the spokes person of the Atiku campaign in the person of Dino melaye and keep him till election. Is over. This will make him not have the opportunity to either campaign for his reflection into the senate or even to act as the spokesperson of Atiku.Dino may be very controversial but he has a charisma that carries people along and he is also blessed with convincing oratory skills.(Tinubu's input might have been sorted in this move )

4)Retaining all the service Chiefs including the IG of police who is meant to retire this month .We all know that we have never had an IG of police who was said to be wearing an APC lapel at a time . An IG who is known to be the most partisan IG of police Nigeria has ever had.Furthermore, you will recall that the service Chiefs were all present at the APC campaign lunch only to be told to leave when people started saying that it will be too obvious and so they made their move before the arrival of the President.

5)The introduction of operation "Python dance" around all state of the federation to commence this January and will end immediately after the election. This move is strategically intended to bring armed military presence to all state to forestall any rigging against the incumbent and will be most pronounced in the PDP state or states that are dicey. Intimidation of opposing voters might be another intention. But they will all hide under security. Since that's the only option that will make the international observer not complain too much.Strategic move!

6)The twist in the Zamfara Crisis. The governor have not hidden his feeling of helplessness and has been insisting that he is open to any solution. Now the solution is either to declare a state of emergency or send Army to take over and ensure that the election swings to the president especially now that APC has been disqualified from fielding any candidate in that election.Salient move!!

7) Delay the minimum wage; This might not have a direct reflection on the election but the presidency can not afford to allow the workers know that they government is not ready to pay up to 30,000 naira ,an error that can be capitalised by opposition to sway votes and is only using the delay to buy time till after election when no one can hold them to ransom.
The idea is to lure NLC into another negotiations and buy time till election is over. This will allow the presidency give a near similar excuse they gave on the electoral act.But NLC is "checking that move" and want to proceed on strike before then.

NB: This are insinuations are based on a careful deductions from what is playing out at the political chess board.

The shame in all these moves will be when PDP finally wins this election by any eventuality.

I know from every human parameters APC has perfected their plan to retain power but I trust the hand of God on Nigeria.

You are so clever by saying its your insinuation.
But note this
1. Delaying of electoral act is a smart way to deal with saboteur. Remembered when the bill has been submitted to the Senate? Tell us how many months it was delayed before now rushing for it passage? Those whole delayed it in the senate did it on purpose and the President that refused to sign it also did it on purpose. That's smartness. Besides, was that not the act PDP have been using to win elections for long? Why are they scared of same act?

2. Appointment of Zakari to inec was done by President Jonathan, where were those crying now when she was employed by their hero? Why can't they cry then? Were they not aware Buhari is contesting against Jonathan and he was appointing his niece? Why sudden discovery?
So because Buhari was her family by any means mean she should sacrifice her career?
She conducted Kogi and Bayelsa govrrnorship election and PDP won Bayelsa, why didn't PDP rejected the outcome of the election because the acting inec chairman is Buhari relative?

3. Extending IG tenour. When Obasanjo extended Okiro Tenour and Yaradua extended Ehindero tenour did heaven fall? So it was only PDP regime that has constitutional right to extend service chief tenour?
Besides, do you know who is next in line to be IG? If happens that he is from Kastina will you guys commit suicide?

4. When Dino was forming "Commando" where were you? If the injured police man happens to be your father or brother will you be insinuating here?
Was Dino not invited before now? From July till now, haven't he gotten enough time? He has approached court and his plea has been denied.
Let him hide or come out, that's is his choice

OP, i want to agree with u on most of d points.
But Buhari and his APC goons are merely the most insignificant of all pawns on a larger Chess board God is playing.
Buhari can wake up dead tomorrow and be buried the same day.
It is not so important to start a Chess game, but to finish it and win is what matters.

Nigeria cannot be check-mated by a single individual.

I must confess that I like the way you approached this matter hitting at the issues.however I will take u on that to.
1)The PDP as you said brought the electoral act and test ran it and it worked. Here it showed a leadership that wanted a free and fair election institutionalized. However ,I will tell you categorically that if not for that electoral act Buhari wouldn't have won election. Now giving that there were a lot of fall out of that election that even the supreme court were handicapped stating that as long as certain aspect of that electoral act are not constitutionalized those error will still affect the election negatively. The truth is that, that electoral act favoured APC more as it minimised rigging but things like the incident form used more in Kano and other APC stronghold helped them.I can tell you that if it were Jonathan he will pass the electoral act amendment. See the difference between what we had before and now is that before there was a selfless desire to change things using institutions as seen in the introduction of EFCC,ICPC and even the electoral act but now we have government using power, force, media and even propaganda to achieve their aim.

2) Zakari'd appointment into office was made by Jonathan after he consulted Buhari to send in a candidate that will monitor the transparency of a genuine and sincere process as a member. But Buhari came in and immediately made her the INEC chairman on acting capacity. If not for the condemnation he received for that act that made him later to rescind his action she would have been the INEC chairman .This was a contrast to Jonathan who appointed a JEGA he never new. Note that Zakari was head of operation In the recent concluded Osun election that got a wide spred criticism both within and outside the country as the worst In recent times. Now, you can see why the apprehension .

3)You talked about Obansanjo and yaradua extending tenure of IGs but non of those IGs where seen carrying a PDP lapel on them and was as politically biased as this.

4) Dino case happened in July and the police NEVER mentioned that one of their operatives was shot or even hospitalized. But only for them to come out now to include that to weep sentiments. My brother if police frame you up you will understand why DINO is not wanting to turn himself in.The will beat silly out of you, inject you ,dehumanize you .It will even be worse for a Dino who has constantly spoken against the vices of the police(especially this current one that can be extremely lawless)Recall that the last time Dino claimed that the police not only brutalised him but injected a lot of substance into him,a similar claim by Fayose was that the police beat him(sitting governor up) and injured him.
My guy,the last time we had this kind of victimization was in the military regime under Buhari and may be Abacha.

My submission is that we can be more civil and more sincere in what we do and it should be seen by majority as such.

Good that, because the votes in these places will be split 50-50, then Atiku will win when the SS/SE throws in their weight.
