What a wise post. In 2011, the votes that brought Jonathan to power were realised mainly from the entire South and the middle belt, while buhari under CPC swept the core north. Instead of him intensifying efforts on replicating the 2011 victory, he went and drew the northern politicians to himself and abandoned the regions where he recorded impressive votes, that's stupidity.By the time he knew it, it was already late and the dollar rain in the southwest eventually couldn't yield any result. He should know that, even if he relocated aso vila to kano, yobe or borno, they'd never have voted him. Southern candidates would hardly sell in the north except hes vice presodential candidate and the presidential candidate is from them. Obasanjo would have lost in his second term bid, had he not used wisdom. He went and picked his cabinet members from the opposition party and won their confidence amd support in his second term bid. He lost in key northern states but still won eventually.
