The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has asked the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, to return to the main opposition party. Speaking through his Media Aide, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku asked Amaechi, to resign and return to the PDP, a party he left in 2014. Amaechi served his two terms as governor and speaker of the Rivers state House of Assembly under the PDP.
