I pity those people demanding for salary increase instead of an improved economy. Increased salary will definitely results in a rise in inflation. The result will be worse than the current salary. If the economy is sound and inflation curtailed, they could well manage with the current salary.
I don't really support this school of thought. Nigeria national minimum wage is one of the lowest in the world other countries pay their workers double to triple of what Nigeria civil servant collect, have their inflation rate rising to the point you are trying to point out? |
