President Muhammadu Buhari, has reacted to allegations that his ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, protects corrupt Politicians who have defected to the party.

In an interview with ThisDay newspaper and Arise Television, President Buhari noted that he had not directed the anti-graft Agencies not to go after corrupt Politicians who joined the ruling party. The President, said that he would not spare anyone, if there are evidence proving any wrongdoings.

Pressed on the example of former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, whom some accused of quitting his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to escape prosecution, the President stressed that such claims were unfair to him.
