Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma ASUU CHAPTER held an emergency congress on the way forward in the lingering Nationwide strike

Dr. Monday Igbafen the chapters Chairman briefed its members on the current state of the struggle.

He also expresses his displeasure on the management of the school who are making plans to filtrate it members to boycott the strike

The Chairman also made it known the Prof Sunny Edeko the. Dean Faculty of Law was expelled from the association for gross misconduct and since then he has been trying by all means to kill the effort of the association

The Chairman also made it known that the struggle is almost over and it will be a wasteful effort if we back out at this crucial time

While addressing the management faction of ASUU insisted they pass a vote to know the way forward but the other faction which are the majority invited strike continues

Less than 2minute after the congress Ambrose Alli University Senate sat and declared the school open for academic session

The Chapter chairman describe the meeting as illegal as no senate meeting is expected to hold during the strike

In a phone conversation with Thompson Jotham who happen to be the Media Aide to the SUG PRESIDENT and a current Aspirant for the SUG DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION

Meanwhile the chapter as released it bulletin instructing all parent to keep their wards at home
