hello everyone out there,

ols i need advice, im planning on sending a van down to nig, but i want to load it with some items as i have a house im building and want to buy some things to decorate, like the interior, i want to know what items not to put in the van as i dont want customs to confiscate it as a result of bringing in banned items, like what items are banned from coming in to the country if put in a van or car.

Yep! You bring in even one contraband stuff on that van, you not only lose everything in the van, you lose the van itself!

i think furniture is not allowed but im not sure of little pieces of furniture, maybe if someone is in the house who have done similar thing can enlighten more on what they put in theirs, im interested in the topic as well

It all depends on where the van is coming from. You cannot load anything in a van coming from the US.

Yes, i believe so.

You can load anything in the van you will like if it is coming from the US by container. Just make sure you declare whatever it is you have in the van of value. Having a good clearing agent will make the process as smooth as possible. We ship container every week so I am very familiar with the custom rules.
