My guy,u 're right i dont know weda we wey graduate with 2:2 is a crime.but my advice is that we shld hold on to our faith.

The Bible says that all things work for good to them that love God, Romans 8:28 and in Daniel 11:32 they that know their God shall be strong and do exploit.seek you first the kingdom of God, ,every other thing will be added to you.see the 2.2 as a challenge and decide within yourself that you must succeed.
You have got to put your trust in God and find other ways of augumenting your qualification.Try one or two professional exams of your choice that will improve your chances of getting the right job

My friend, putting up this kind of post will only cause u to lose self confidence. That u have not gotten a job is not because u made a 2.2. Keep trying and pray HARD!
Let me share a little story with u:
Some guy graduated in 1998 (made 2.2), finished service in 1999, Got a Civil Service job in 2000 (8k plus a month)!
Started taking tests (aptitude) same 2000. Here we list some:
1. NNPC (2000) , NO SHOW
1. Nigerian Breweries (2001) - from over 500 people, went through the stages and got to the last 10 (interview) , NO SHOW!
2. WAEC (2001) - from over 1000 people, got to the last stage (23 people), NO SHOW!
3. CBN (2003) - 2 stages no interview, NO SHOW
4. Nigerian Breweries again (2004) - From over a couple of THOUSANDS to about 200 and something or so for the 2nd stage, NO SHOW!
5. Sema Business Solutions (2004) - interview, NO SHOW!

There were some other applications, no invitations but the guy took all in his stride and kept trying. Later, he realized there was one little mistake, he had been doing these all alone. What did he do? He acknowledged his shortcomings and took his case to GOD and left it in His hands. Year 2005 came calling and God took control. The guy got a change of job and today he earns more than 27 times what he started life on!
Everybody has his/her life's story to tell, I just told u MINE!!!!!

Moral of the story is, ? Figure it out for urself and bless God for 2day!

do not loss hope in your search for a job. let me tell you guyz over there that there are alot of people that are working in a good place with 2.2. one of them is my Bro. He is working with celtel and now is a specialist.The only thing that got him there was God and the determiniation to succed. When he took the test with other 2.1 guys, he came oout to be the best among the so cherished 2.1 and that landed him to the job. most 2.2 guyz are ashamed that they made 2.2 and fail to realised that they have not failed in life. failure to achieve something just simply means that you have not worked enough hard to reach the pass mark and that you should keep on trying. there is a saying that goes like this " He who dies trying dies winning." guyz keep on trying and even apply for the so called 2.1 jobs. i some guyz that once they see a job advertised for 2.1 they fail to apply just because they made 2.2; no apply for that job, let the people themselves not invite you for a test instead of you disqualifying yourself before 'they' disqualify you. 2.2 doeesn't make you inferior or a dullard. what makes you not move to getting that job is when you are inferior and a dullard, when you can't study hard to pass a test.
don't be discouraged anylonger. apply for any job u feel u have passion of doing and u can do the job very well, even if it is made for 2.1 and first class. now is the time for overcomers, apply for the job, pray that they invite you for a test, work and study that you may pass and pass well so that some of the 2.1 may may be shamed. God helps the weak (2.2) so that they may get a job.

My brother what more can i add, the people that talked b4 have said it all. You need to focus on God and realise that the 2.2 doesn't mean u r relegated to 2nd rate jobs, haven't u heard of people that finished with 3rd class n are doing very well for themselves today.
You need to get urself up from the floor and keep ur head up, then go to God and tell him what you want and how much you want it cos believe me, He listens and answers all IF only YOU believe.
Second thing i think u need to do if u have a 2.2 is to find ways to develop urself and make urself attractive to employers, go for courses, maybe go back to skool, learn interview techniques or get resume prep from professionals. There r a few firms out there who help with all that kinda stuff, so keep ur head up bro. Nobody can keep u down without your permission!!!

OGS Pls u need to encourage The 2.2 guys. nobody stopped anyone from obtaining a 2.1 Somebody is losing self confidence and all you can write is what u had posted, that was terrible.

Its not by 2.2 or 2.1 or even pass, It is by God's grace. a 2.1 cannot give you the best job or the worst job only God can.

Why do we inject sentiment into our discussion ! Pls note that not all the 2:1 guys also ve JOBS! Who will encourage them? Is it with posts like this that tell them they are no better? That there hard earned 2:1 was a FLUKE? HABA !

FIRST CLASS OH, 2:1 OH, 2:2 OH, 3RD CLASS ETC, EVERYBODY NEEDS EQUAL ENCOURAGEMENT AS LONG AS THEY ARE A JOB SEEKER.

If 2:2 guys react in such a way, how about those that graduated with lower grades? Nobody is talking about them! Are they not HUMAN? Dont they need a JOB as much as u need one!

Actally, some of the best professionals I know had a third class so cheer up. Am sure God has great plans for you.

sometimes in life the attitude we put towards the issues of life determine how far we go,pls 2.2, 2.1, 3rd class or even pass, God created you for a purpose, so no matter what you graduated with, it does not totally determine your destiny, was Prof. Wole Soyinka a 2.1 student?, pls lets have positive attitude towards life and put our stake upon wat God has for our life rather than believe in our own ability, what about those that died immediately after youth service, what about those that never went to school, how many of the spare parts dealers are educated, but do u know they are driving the economy of today?.
Lets give thanks to God and appreciate Him for taking us this far, rather than making Him feel regrets for seeing us through school.
It it Well, i know the treatment is not fair, why? because nobody gives you the room to express yourself, but we shall all get there in Jesus Name.
