Ambode too is trying to give APC a good pay back. If truly he is working for Agbaje behind the scene, he is very smart. To remove devil, you must be wise. Lol!

A coalition of civil society organisations (CSOs) Thursday alleged that the Lagos State House of Assembly moved to remove the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, because the governor refused to release the sum of N100 billion the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership in the state demanded for electioneering.

How can any sane mind believe they're demanding for 100 billion naira shocked shocked shocked

Lies from pit of hell, how much is Lagos budget ? Where are they going to get 100 billion naira to remove

Nonsense!

Do you know how much Lagos taxes companies in the state? Everything is taxed! A building used for business purposes in Lagos that is not fenced will pay parking taxes. Even though the cars are parked on your property that has a clear cut demarcation. The agents will count the number of cars that can fit in and then tax you. If you refuse to pay, they'll come to the building with X stickers pasted everywhere and terrorize your clients. If the company is owned by foreigners, then Lagos state can go as far as locking up the business office.

Do you have proof of what you are saying?

There is no way Lagos APC would be demanding N100 billion for political campaign, come on that's almost the whole of IGR in the state for one month.

If it is not fake news, let Ambode come out and tell us how much they are demanding for elections or better still, let the CSOs approach EFCC, ICPC, or the court to expose them.

How are we sure this is true.

Ambode should resist any attempt to use public fund to fund their erection.

However, is that why Ambode has been so useless to the state, viz:

Virtually all Lagos roads are filled with potholes. Ambode refuses to release fund to Public Works for repairs
Abandoned road projects everywhere
Traffic jam everywhere
Most traffic lights are non functional since over a year ago
No new number plates in Lagos state since over a month to register new vehicles. They said Ambode refuses to release money to print
Non authorised motorbikes (okada) on highways
Trucks packed on major roads especially Ikorodun road and those leading to Apapa. So many times the governor promised to build packs for them

I don't understand why these politicians are so greedy. You were nobody when the so called god father presented you as candidate against all odds. The same power that be said they don't want you any longer and instead of you to leave a great legacy by good governance you abandoned all basics of good governance to punish citizens while you still hold forth.

He could have used this remaining part to convince Lagosians that he is great leader. I hope he will also be humble enough to reinstate the Alausa church pastor he sacked the other day to show stupid love for his wife.

Zombie please keep quiet.

The entire APC hierarchy was celebrating Ambode as the beacon of good governance. Lauretta Onochie used him as a yardstick to compare Fayose until the slave-master deemed he was not loyal enough. Suddenly Ambode became a terrible leader and foot soldiers of the slave master like you began to scramble for dirt to put on his name. The illusion that has continued to thrive is that Lagos state is Nigeria's most progressive state because people compare Lagos with other cities in Nigeria. Take the argument beyond Nigeria and compare Lagos with cities like Cairo, Nairobi, Kigali, Johannesburg and see how Lagos pales in comparison with those cities. Because of the stranglehold of the slave-master, the state cannot witness true and inclusive development. While one part of the state can be as rich as Manhattan, other parts are poorer than the slums of Delhi.

Of course I do. I had ignored all the letters they had sent to the company until they put the X stickers everywhere. Since I had no experience in all that, I had to send the policeman attached to us to help negotiate with them. The original question I made a comment on was on how Lagos state could have 100b in their coffers.
As per the news being fake or not, why do they want to impeach him when his tenor is rounding up? Why now? Exactly why do they want him out of the way? If Ambode should tell come out and make an announcement, he'll just be called a sour loser.

But you believe Dezianni stole $20b to fund PDP campaign, yet you doubt N100b demanded from Ambode by APC.

If this is not true, why are they bent on impeaching him now, two weeks to elections. If he committed any impeachable offense why not wait until after elections?

they need it at the federal level, all the tradermoni and rice and recruitment of extra hands to influence the media. All that would cost money and it has to come from somewhere.
