Reacting shortly after, Atiku said the endorsement is “a loud statement that there is hope for our country”.

“I am moved to tears that in the midst of deep divisions and deliberate use of instrumentalities of state to set our people against themselves in the last three and a half years, responsible and respected leaders across Nigeria have agreed to come together for the purpose of endorsing my candidature for the February 16th,2019 Presidential elections,” he said in a statement.

“Today we put aside all our prejudices to elect a President with religion and ethnicity playing no role in our elections.”

The former vice-president added that he is buoyed to lead a pan-Nigerian team if elected, and that he has been chosen to unite our people “and exactly that I will.”

“I will run a properly federated Nigeria through constitutional reforms to bring out the best from ALL sections of Nigeria to make Nigeria work again like in the past when the Saudi Royal family came to Nigeria to access Medicare,” he said.

“We will promote an inclusive Nigeria based on productivity that every section of Nigeria will bring out the best under their soil, and in their brain to make Nigeria assume its position in Africa and the global community.

“It would be 100% for every section of Nigeria as I would not understand any arithmetic outside that.”

Atiku is seen as President Muhammadu Buhari’s main challenger in the election.

Read the statement: That is how a leader of a diverse country as ours should sound.

Not the divisive 97%:5% of the present occupant.

Buhari was in so many ways a disaster to the psyche of this nation. May we never experience him again.

Anybody that's supports Buhari at this stage should be considered an enemy for life ..Every day gives proof of Buhari's dementia-inspired mental incapacity.Vote wisely! Avoid sentiments while casting your votes. Hunger and hardship knows no tribe, religion or party affiliation.The only person that owes Nigerians explanations on;
a) Why the Biggest economy in African and 3rd fasted growing economy in the world (2014) crashed in just 10 months of his assuming office, is Buhari.
b) Buhari is the only person that will explain why 12,4Million Nigeria lost their jobs because of zero economic focus of his govt.
c) Buhari is the only person that will explain why over N1.2Trillion was invested in Agriculture and we can't find the food on our dining tables.
d) It is only Buhari, that will answer why over 1,000 were killed (unprotected) by Boko Haram that he told Nigerians that he has defeated.
e) Buhari is the only person that will answer the question on the $1billion he claimed spent on arms and the Army chiefs said that they received nothing.
f) Buhari owes Nigerians explanation why has to pay about $500million for Warplanes that will be supplied in 2022 for a war that is speedily ravaging Nigerians now?
g) The question on the N9.4Trillion Missing in NNPC and catalogue of Looting by Buhari's family, friends, Party members are best explained by Buhari the Oil Minister and President is for Buhari to answer.
h) Buhari should have explained to Nigerians why he failed in all his 2015 three cardinal campaign points in 2015 of Economy, Terror War and Corruption Fight and only succeeded in bringing Poverty in the land.
This is why I said that Atiku was Right leaving the campaign Venue when Buhari fails to show up, as he can't Debate himself. BUHARI is a DISASTER.TINUBU O TO GE....

Good one, if Afenifere of the Yoruba people have endorsed him, it is safe to say that Atiku has pocketed southern votes 100%, he has taken the middle-belt already as an indigene of the north, he has also split the north majority of dunderheaded dumbohari.

Kilo tu ku?

Booharii the murderer does not enjoy a pan-nigeria goodwill. Atiku's does.

Atiku is the president already. grin

When a leader speaks, you feel hope.

Not the divisive one who goes about with a 97% vs 5% incorrect mathematical equation.

He will cry at the final defeat, God of heaven will not allow a thief see it. Let them endorse him, God has not endorsed a thief, but God brought Buhari back when people were praying he should not come back alive.
