Proof That Buhari Will Win The Election Without "Rigging" by Moana0635: 7:29pm On Feb 09, 2019
These are the findings/ polling result from an independent body who sampled thousands of Nigerian citizens in all the geographic zones

POLLING RESULTS FROM THE VENTURE INSTITUTE PROJECTOR

The results obtained through VIPs Intelli-A show the current standing of the two most prominent candidates in Nigeria's Presidential election- President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP. The analysis covers all the geographical zones of Nigeria (the North-West, North-East, North-Central, South-West, South-South, South-East). We surveyed 6,000 registered voters (1,000 per zone) across the country as to who they will vote for, and the results are enumerated by zone in the following paragraphs.

" In the North West projection, 25% of voters would vote for Atiku, while 75% will support Buhari.
The high percentage of support for the APC candidate, Muhammadu Buhari in the North-West is predictable as he has traditionally averaged 85-90% of the votes in this zone.

" In the North-East, Atiku is likely to receive 32% of voters support while Buhari should clinch 68% of voters support.

Buhari's dominance in the North-East is unsurprising considering that the two states where Buhari's support is the strongest are in the zone. Also, Atiku has never recorded a win in his own Local Government Area and all candidates he has openly supported over the years have lost in Adamawa, his home state. In the North-East zone, a high number of political heavyweights are on Buhari's side (such as former EFCC boss, Nuhu Ribadu and and former governor Mohammed Marwa). The PDP gubernatorial candidate in Gombe is also currently campaigning for APC candidate, Buhari. The current governor of Gombe also campaigned strongly for Buhari in 2015. Clearly, this zone is an APC stronghold.

" In the North-Central, Atiku will garner 45% of voters support, while Buhari's support is projected at 55%.

The North-Central states are big in the on the agricultural sector and benefitted significantly from the Agriculture Revolution which has been tagged Buhari's greatest achievement. According to our findings, Kwara and Kogi have swung heavily towards Buhari by as much as 70%.

" In the South-West, 43% of voters are expected to support Atiku while 57% of voters will support Buhari.
The people of the South-West still hold a grudge against Atiku, Obasanjo and the entire PDP for the massive election rigging they sponsored in 2003 which saw the PDP pushing the South-West party, Alliance for Democracy out of power.

" In the South-South, Atiku is projected to receive 65% of voters support while Buhari will clinch 35% of voters.

The South-South is a traditional PDP zone and it appears that fact has not changed. While the PDP will win the majority, our analysis has shown that APC has made some inroads in Akwa-Ibom, Delta and Cross River states.

" In the South-East, 80% of voters are likely to declare their support for Atiku while Buhari will receive 20% of voters support.

The South-East is Atiku's strongest base. While it looks like Atiku is set to win, Buhari seems to have made incursions into three South-East states; Anambra, Ebonyi and Imo states.

CONCLUSION: From our analysis, a sample of 6,000 registered voters in all geographical zones across Nigeria, Atiku has the support of 2,150 registered voters while Buhari enjoys the support of 3,850 registered voters. This translates as Atiku 36% and Buhari 64%. Seemingly, the negatives of Atiku being corrupt and the aftermath of the 16 years of misrule by the PDP still lingers in voters' minds, adversely affecting Atiku's current Presidential ambition. The Venture Institute Projector is a subsidiary of the Venture Institute, an independent, non-governmental organization with no political affiliations.

In addition to the findings from this Institute, one of the world's largest political risk consultancy firms, Eurasia Group has predicted victory for Buhari, saying Saraki has been distracted by the battles he is facing in the National Assembly coupled with the weak campaign being run by South-East governors, who are not too happy with the emergence of Atiku’s running mate, Peter Obi, as key reasons Atiku may lose to Buhari.
Eurasia Group said, “Opposition candidate Atiku Abubakar has regained some momentum in recent weeks, but President Muhammadu Buhari remains favored to win (a 60% probability),”

Outside of Nigeria, many who keep close watch on Nigerian politics believe this election will favour the incumbent president. Alex Thurston is Assistant Professor of Teaching in the African Studies Programme at the Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
He said "Buhari is still the favourite because of his party’s continued strength in its strongholds in northern and southwestern Nigeria, along with the considerable advantages of incumbency and some specific liabilities of Abubakar”. Thurston is a well-known critic of the Buhari adminstration and a highly credible source with no bias.

Leadership Nigeria has also predicted victory for Buhari.
However, ThisDay newspaper, who are famously known to be in the pocket of Bukola Saraki are the only organisation to predict a victory for Atiku.

if Goodluck Jonathan lost to buhari with just 2 Million votes despite being backstabbed and voted against by some middle belt states then Atiku Abubakar with the key middle belt support and the support of the North East will defnitely with support of the East win against Buhari , unless mathematics and logical reasoning does not work again.

Also the votes of former APC fans who have recovered from the change scam will vote Atiku

This isn't a matter of opinion or sentiment. Check the numbers again. Elections are a game of mathematics, not sentiments.

Creation of a Social Welfare Programme where a minimum of N5000 would be paid to
25 million poorest and most vulnerable citizens: FAILED
This campaign promise generated a serious controversy when the president denied he or the APC ever made such a promise contrary to one of the campaign billboards that was strategically placed at Mabushi Flyover. The billboard which carried the picture of Mr. Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo, announced the duo would pay every unemployed graduate in the country N5,000. Till date, the government has not implemented the policy and the party has rather explained the failure away by blaming the PDP for looting the treasury even when a large number of members of the ruling party were PDP chieftains before they defected and became cleansed from every sin they committed.

The revival of Ajaokuta Steel Company: FAILED
Despite the above promise, the government is yet to take any concrete action to revive the giant steel company. The House of Representatives had on December 6, adopted a report calling on Mr. Buhari to terminate the re-concession deal on the national steel firm. The lawmakers made the call during the debate on the report of the ad-hoc committee set up to probe the failure of the steel company. They asked the government to take a cue from the United States and demonstrate a strong political will to resuscitate the Ajaokuta Integrated Steel plant by direct sourcing. The president is yet to take action on the appeal.

It's almost like you didn't read to understand. These people who carried out the survey don't care about your sentiment or backyard analysis. This isn't a matter of like or dislike . These are REAL LIFE numbers. Google The Eurasia Group, they are one of the world’s largest political risk consultancy firms. If you want to contest their findings, please show me another polling body that has reported numbers that see Atiku winning.
