Nobody Can Accurately Predict Presidential Poll Winner – Ekweremadu by yns4real: 11:31pm On Feb 09, 2019
Sunday Aborisade, Abuja

The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, says it is very difficult for anyone to accurately predict the winner of the Saturday’s presidential election because it would be a keen contest.

The senator, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Uche Anichukwu, stated this while fielding questions during an interactive radio programme on Urban 94.5 FM Radio, Enugu on Saturday.

Asked to specifically predict the party whose candidate would win the presidential election, Ekweremadu said the situation on the ground at the moment cannot guarantee an accurate prediction.

He said, “Let me tell you the exact thing about what is happening presently. Ahead of the presidential election, no one can surely say that this party would win or this candidate would win. But in 2015 or 2016, nobody gave PDP a chance and today PDP has bounced back to life.

“So, when you watch the rallies, you say oh, this is a huge crowd for the APC (All Progressives Congress) in Adamawa or that was a huge PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) crowd in Katsina, the home of the President.

“That is an interesting thing and that is exactly what we worked for and we are able to see Nigerians participating. So, I am happy when I see this close contest and by the grace of God, PDP will win,” he added

He said the significant improvement by the PDP was an indication that the decision of several chieftains of the party, including himself, to stay back to revive the party after the 2015 general elections had paid off.

Ekweremadu said his decision to remain in the PDP during its trying times and despite political persecutions, was to ensure Nigeria continued to enjoy a balanced democracy devoid of a one-party system.

You and Ekweremadu should wake up from your slumber.

Who is talking about prediction when ipob with plenty monikers like that betnaija man have already won for the fulani thief with a margin of 20m?

Forget the fact that they don't have pvcs, the likes and shares they have gathered on social media is worth a trillion vote from almajiri and afonja with pvcs cheesy

If you like, continue sleeping, the election is over, athieku has started moving his friends like omokriminal, ffk, fayose, and all known thieves to aso rock for onward enrichment from the sale of the national asset as promised.

Ekweremadu said the situation on the ground at the moment cannot guarantee an accurate prediction.

This statement should cause PDP wailers to start their wailing fest from now.... The highest ranking PDP man at this "die minute" just use scope to lay it all bare. smiley

Ekwerwmadu don't want his people to turn on him like they have just turned on Papa Nkita Kanu the Albino, hence his tongue in check statement.

He will decamp after election. smiley

True. This election is unique. After the election, it will be easier to predict subsequent elections. I think Atiku will win though. I’ve done some state by state analysis

Whatever it is, Kwekweremadu is wrong, Buhari and Star Boy will win a landslide. Ain't no chance in hell we'd hand over the affairs of our country to a foreign Established Thief. cool

Even Buhari knows that he is going back to Daura. Nigerian are not smiling again. Atiku when you become the president, don't follow the footstep of the lifeless one cos I will be at the forefront attacking you.
